Scott tells a lot about the weather situation.
It is short sentences and he did not finish them all. Examples could be "We may hope for 3 this afternoon, 7x6=42". Scott misses some verbs for instance "The sky completely overscast when we started this morning."
Could you, please, reflect a little upon the effect of this? And the reasons why he writes in this style...
